ABOUT
ME
I have built my experience on a foundation of classical theatrical training and acting techniques. I pursued my undergraduate degree at a liberal arts college so that I could diversify my education but I still sought the conservatory experience and enrolled in a semester at LAMDA where I received an expert education and a practice of honest acting from Shakespeare to contemporary work. This has not only brought me great success with taking on the roles that I have played in independent films, but also in commercial work and cold read auditions.
I spend my time off camera as a carpenter, building furniture and sets. It keeps me close to the creativity that I love and also allows me to work with my hands, building what I need from the ground up. I manage construction at Universal Studios where I can drive by Jaws and Hill Valley's Courthouse everyday - honestly, not such a bad way to put a roof over my head. My passion for sci-fi and horror films brought me to fabricating unique special effects, props, and costumes for independent projects. As much as I love making them, I long to use them myself.
I search for adventure and find it anywhere I can gather the means to travel to. Last year, I found myself in Northern Norway eating stew on a reindeer farm with a Sami native. Hopefully next year it'll be Japan and somewhere new the following. Until then and thereafter, I'll dream of traveling to Tunisia to film my scenes on Tatooine or to Northern Ireland to shoot at Castle Black.
